After you drop your board off for consignment

Thank you for letting Hapa Surf & Skate sell your Boards.  

What happens next:


How we do it:                        

  • We immediately post your board on our website with all the details and a teaser photo.
  • We do a thorough cleaning of your board to get it ready for a photoshoot.
  • Photographed with professional lighting and neutral backdrop.
  • Post it online with details. “Online” includes: our website, Facebook, Craigslist, Instagram
  • When the board is sold your check is usually mailed out within 2-3 business days.

Pricing:

We add 25% on top of what you want.  

We don't take 25% off the sale price.  

Here is the difference:  

So we add 25%, and it works out to us taking 20% of the sale price.

$50 minimum fee.  If you only want $40 for your board, we still add $50.  

 Negotiating:

We don't haggle or negotiate pricing with customers.  

We try to get the price you want for your board.  

Not sold yet:

If you want to drop the price on the board, please let us know.  You can shoot us a text or call us anytime (please specify which board). 

If it sits for way too long with little interest, we will shoot you a message suggesting a price drop.

Always remember, it is your board.  You can pick it up anytime with no fees.

If the board is priced right, it will sell.
