How to sell your used surfboard at HAPA Boardshop!

Let us sell your board for you:

How we do it:

• We do a thorough cleaning of your board to get it ready for a photoshoot.
• Photographed with professional lighting and neutral backdrop.
• Post it online with details.
• When the board is sold your money is usually mailed out within a few business days.

Lots of boards or a collector item:

If you have more than 4 boards to sell or have a high value collector item board, Please call the shop to set up a good time to come in.

 

Pricing:

You set the price.  We can help you with that.

We add 25% on top of what you want = 20% of the sale price.

$50 minimum fee.  So if you only want $40 for your board, we still add $50.  

 

Negotiating:

We don't haggle or negotiate pricing with customers.  We try to get the price you want for your board.  When you want to drop the price on the board, just let us know at your convenience.

 The better the price, the faster it sells.

Old Boards:

We try to keep our board racks full of boards that are in demand.  Most old yellow boards are pretty hard to sell.  If you need help getting rid of old boards, we have a donation program where we work closely with people in our surf community that can get those boards under the feet of someone in need.

• No buckled or broken boards that have been repaired
• No paint jobs that could be hiding repairs
• No boards with delams
• No elf shoes 
• No glass on fins (there are some exceptions)
• No asyms
• Sorry we do not take SUP's
• No foils
• No cleaning fee.
• No bad vibes
