This is the replacement baseplate for Slappy's Ultra Low inverted hollow kingpin setup, with a 6-hole mounting pattern. The baseplate is the bottom half of a truck: it bolts to your deck and holds the kingpin, pivot cup and bushings that the hanger rides on.

When to replace a baseplate

Replace a baseplate when it is cracked, when the kingpin threads have stripped, or when you are changing setups. The rest of the truck can stay in service - add bushings, pivot cups, kingpins and hardware if they are worn too.
